UW Symphony

As part of a concert featuring the winners of the annual student-concerto competition at the School of Music, the UW Symphony will perform a new work by Jerry Hui Sunday, April 4, 4 p.m. in Mills Hall of the Mosse Humanities Building, located at the corner of Park Street and University Avenue, 455 N. Park St. Hui, a Hong Kong native and a senior at UW-Madison, will graduate this spring with a bachelor's degree in music composition and computer science. Hui has studied composition with Joel Naumann and Stephen Dembski at the UW School of Music and has been a founder and conductor of two choirs: Museko, a community choir of about 20 voices, and the campus-based Contemporary Vocal Ensemble.
