I've been enjoying a very good progress in writing Carmina Lesbia; onto finishing a third song for the set. The Medieval trio (Alison Allstat, Stephen Rodgers and myself) are very serious in giving a concert--now tentatively set on 8/8 (Wed), time and place TBA. One final item, a link to Brendan Faegre's website is updated.

It's again time for a website facelift! Some pages are not transferred yet to the new look, but they will be soon. I've also updated my list of works and performances. Geek talk--now that some of the pages are written as XML/XSLT, I'm very curious as to how it may or may not work on your browser. If you encounter any problem at all (I hope not though), please let me know!

Erythros: Four Variations in Red
On March 10th (Saturday) 2007, Iperformed my MM thesis. The concert was at 8pm, in Dougherty Dance Theater, Gerlinger Annex of University of Oregon. A collaboration with Laura Hiszczynskyj (choreographer), Jefferson Goolsby (video artist) and Reza Safavi (video artist), this is a 35-minute multimedia work that explores the social and cultural context of the color red. It features local music forces including Eugene Contemporary Chamber Ensemble (ECCE) and Sospiro, as well as local dancers. Tickets are $5 at the door.
